The Permanent Mission to the U.N. of the Republic of Armenia and the Krikor and Clara Zohrab Information Center present: Hope in Hayastan (A Success Story in Business Development… a Business with a Mission) – a Presentation by Ralph Yirikian (VivaCell-MTS General Manager) on Thursday, April 8 at 7 p.m. in Guild Hall of the Diocesan Complex (at 630 Second Avenue). This exciting presentation will be followed by a question and answer session and a reception featuring wine and delicious Armenian mezze.

The Zohrab Center, together with Columbia University Armenian Club, the Armenian Students Association and the Armenian Network invite you join us on Thursday, April 15 at 7:00 p.m. in Guild Hall (at the Diocesan Complex) for an evening of reflection upon the voices of Armenian survivors with authors Peter Balakian and Nancy Kricorian along with Mariam Stepanian of the Armenian Museum and Library of America and Ruth Thomasian of Project SAVE.

April’s Calamity: Readings from Armenian Authors Deported From Constantinople on April 24, 1915
The Zohrab Center, together with Columbia University Armenian Club, the Armenian Students Association and the Armenian Network invite you to a unique evening in St. Vartan Armenian Cathedral geared towards better understanding the meaning of the events of April 24, 1915. New York City artists and authors will read selections from the works of Armenian authors of Istanbul who were rounded up and taken away to be killed on April 24. Readings will feature pieces from those Armenian authors who were successfully murdered after their deportation and those who miraculously survived.

“Khachaturian”
The Zohrab Center and the New York Metro Alumni of Birthright Armenia will screen the film “Khachaturian,” about the revered composer’s life and music. “Khachaturian” won Best Documentary at the Hollywood Film Festival and is narrated by Eric Bogosian and produced and directed by Peter Rosen. Event to take place in Guild Hall at 630 Second Avenue.
