Zohrab Center Announces “Armenian Professionals Series”

NEW YORK, New York (January 22, 2010) – The Krikor and Clara Zohrab Information Center is launching a new series titled “Evenings with Armenian Professionals.” The series will kick off with an event featuring leading Armenians in the jewelry industry on Wednesday, March 10 at 7 pm at the Diocese of the Armenian Church of America, located at 630 Second Avenue (at 34th street) in New York.

Three jewelers, including Berge Abajian, Hagop Baghdadlian and Hirant Gulian have been invited to talk about their profession and specializations in the jewelry field. After a brief presentation by each of the speakers, a question and answer session will take place followed by a wine and cheese reception where attendants will have the opportunity to meet the guest speakers.

The Krikor and Clara Zohrab Information Center is a resource and research facility for the benefit of all those interested in Armenian Studies. In addition, the Center serves as a cultural center, organizing a range of events for Armenians in the metro area.
